| There is a palpable sense of disenchantment and frustration in America, as bankers make million dollar bonuses while the little guy is left to suffer. Health care reform seems to be at a standstill and people are continuing to lose their jobs, their homes, and their American dream. A small group of individuals in the media are trying to benefit from this devastation by utilizing political commentary to spread fear, insecurity, and uncertainty, leading to public panic and anger. Becoming angry about the current way things are in America is one thing, but action caused by inaccurate or incomplete information is quite another. Political changes may need to be made, but encouraging irrationality and violence is not the way to do so. | |
